Ubungo Modern Secondary School was founded with the goal of providing hope and opportunity to children in Tanzania who face difficult living conditions. We believe that education is the key to breaking the cycle of poverty and empowering children with the tools they need to shape their own future.
Our Story Founded in 2004, our school found by the late Asseri Zakayo Mamuya who saw the need for a safe and supportive learning environment for children from disadvantaged backgrounds. Over the years, we have grown into a thriving institution that provides not only education but also essential life skills, mentorship, and emotional support to our students.

1. What are the school’s operating hours ?
Our school operates from Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 3:30 PM. Office hours for administrative inquiries are 7:30 AM to 4:30 PM.
2. FAre meals provided at the school?
We offer nutritious meals and snacks through our cafeteria. Parents can also choose to send packed lunches if preferred.
